Andre Villas Boas unveiled as new Chelsea manager

All eyes are on Blues' New Manager. The English Premier League runners up Chelsea officially unveiled their new manager Andre Villas Boas.

The former Porto manager was handed a three-year contract that starts with immediate effect on a reported contract of five-million pounds sterling a year.

It's not the first time though that Boas will be working at Stamford Bridge having assisted Jose Mourinho during his time at the club. Fresh from guiding Portuguese giants FC Porto to domestic league and Europa League titles, his first task will be to decide at what stage the team - featuring ageing stars like Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and John Terry - needs to be dismantled and rebuilt.

The man often compared to his former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is hoping to bring some much-needed dynamism to a club that failed to land any silverware last season.
