Jerome Boateng

German midfielder, Jerome Boateng has secured his transfer to Premier League side Manchester City from Hamburg SV. The 21-year old signed a five year contract and will link up with Roberto Mancini's squad after the World Cup in South Africa where he is with the Germany squad. The transfer fee involved is said to be 12 million Euros. It is expected Boateng to be the first of many high profile names to arrive at Manchester City Stadium.

Thomas Hizlsperger

Former Stuttgart captain, Thomas "Hammer" Hitzlsperger has mover to West Ham United after leaving Italian side, Lazio. He arrives on a free transfer after the end of his contract with Lazio. This year he is not a part of the German national side for the World Cup in South Africa.

He is not new to the Premier League as he started his senior professional career with another Premiership side, Aston Villa in 2000. The Hammer will bring abundance of experience to the Hammers.

Mark Schwarzer

Australian custodian, Mark Schwarzer has been given the green light by his Fulham manager, Roy Hodgson to move to Arsenal after his participation in the FIFA World Cup this year in South Africa. The Gunners are in a lookout for an experience goalkeeper to replace Almunia and be a example to Lukas Fabianski.

A conversation between Schwarzer and Hodgson was done with him telling his manager that the offer from Arsenal was too good to turn down. The former Kaisersalutern, Bradford City and Middlesborough goalkeeper is expected to make a 3 million pounds move out of Craven Cottage after the World Cup.
