10 men Aussies hold Ghanaians


Australia had Harry Kewell sent off in the 20th minute and held on to draw this FIFA World Cup 2010 Group D match at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

The Aussies took the lead through Brett Holman who took advantage off a parried shot from Mark Bresciano. The Black Stars restored parity through a Asamoah Gyan penalty in the 25th minute. The penalty was a result of Kewell was adjudged to handle Ayew's shot with his hand on  the goal line.

Both teams surged to find the winning goal and Ghana almost clinched it through Kevin Prince Boateng. At the final whistle, Ghana topping the group, followed by Germany, Serbia and Australia rounding it off.
