Roberto Mancini takes over from Mark Hughes

 Mancini........ in

Hughes...out

Roberto Mancini has been out of management since being sacked by Italian champions, Inter Milan two years ago has now signed on as Manchester City's new boss on a 3 and a half year contract. He will be taking over from Mark Hughes who was just in charge of today's match against Sunderland which ended 4-3 to the Sky Blues.

City owners were unhappy with the team's performance which have seen City only winning 1 game in 12 games. They spent 100 million pounds on enhancing the team with purchases of Tevez, Santa Cruz, Barry, Toure and Given. However, the owners have lost patience with the way the team has performed and sought Macini to replace Hughes.
